Student Safety

The safety and supervision of students during tutoring sessions is the sole responsibility of parents or legal guardians. Hutors provides a platform to connect tutors with students, but parents/guardians must:

• Be present or ensure appropriate adult supervision during all tutoring sessions
• Verify the identity and credentials of tutors before sessions begin
• Establish and maintain a safe learning environment
• Monitor all interactions between tutors and their children

While Hutors conducts basic verification of tutors, we cannot guarantee their conduct or qualifications. Parents assume full responsibility for hiring decisions and supervision requirements.

In-Person Meetings

Hutors strongly advises against mentees meeting mentors in person without implementing proper security measures. If users choose to arrange in-person meetings, Hutors will not be responsible for any unfortunate situations that may arise. We recommend the following safety precautions:

• Meet only in public locations with other people present
• Inform family members or friends about meeting details
• Verify the mentor's identity through our platform before meeting
• For minors, a parent or guardian must be present at all times
• Use our messaging system to communicate rather than sharing personal contact information

By using Hutors, you acknowledge that we serve primarily as a connection platform and expressly disclaim all liability for any harm, injury, or damages resulting from in-person meetings between users.

Payment Terms

Payment for tutoring sessions must be made through our secure payment system. Refunds are subject to our refund policy.

Limitation of Liability

Hutors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
